Loulou loves you is something else! What started out as a small range of knickers only a couple seasons ago has turned into a serious lingerie collection. Each piece from the Loulou Loves You line is hand made using high quality fabrics, great attention to detail and particular care has been taken to make the sizing realistic.

Like I said, this all started with knickers, the designer’s big addiction, but right now the collection consists of matching Boudoir Jackets (totally frivolous but oh so satisfying!) as well as garters and bows which double as hair pins and brooches.

When we asked the designer her views on her lingerie she said: “I would like to see buying lingerie to become as popular as treating yourself to a haircut or getting your nails done. Lingerie is in that bracket, something that makes you feel good about yourself. I think all women agree that when you are wearing something beautiful under your clothing then you feel all the more attractive. Lingerie doesn’t need to be for your partner, it should be ultimately for you, then of course he or she gets a bonus treat too!”

Kiss Me Quick brings vintage stylings, lacy confections, lingerie and pasties for pin-up kittens, burlesque divas and lady’s of style! Simone Wale works from her studio in Australia hand crafting these sassy pieces. All of her collections have an old world burlesque feel like the high wasited knickers with corsetry style lace up panels. The pieces aren’t just rooted in the past, Simone also loves to tease and is quite fond of color coordinated pasties, full fashioned hosiery, and her “more than a date girdle”. Anyone that can partake in lingerie’s resurgence and still embrace the word “girdle” deserves a closer look.

Simone has said that Kiss Me Quick is “giving women something that is both classy and sexy, not Gent’s Magazine sexy, something more vintage, something with a bit more tease, a bit more of a thrill…” Her pieces have easily 10 times more coverage than oh-so-last-year thongs and strings. Most are done in deep, rich, jewel like tones and come with plenty of satin.

She has a broad range of pasties. Some are flowers, some have ornate details like the saucier side of the wardrobe truck from Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette , and others have a formal, almost oriental feel.

Maggie Schreiber designs Lucky Locket “for girls who skate by day….and wear killer high heels at night.” Maggie is from New South Wales, Australia. Maggie says “I couldn’t find anything to wear so I designed my own range – lingerie that is delicate but naughty. Obsessed by art from all genres I wanted to have art that I love on my lingerie , using silk, tattoo art using intricate embroidery, and silver charms became my signature.” In 2006 she started a business by producing to order for Coco de Mer (UK, US), Beyond the Valley, Paradiso Boudoir (online shop coming), and individual orders. You won’t have an easy task finding Lucky Locket online at these stores.

Maggie completed a widespread commercial launch of the Lucky Locket label in 2007 and she’ll be redoing the website in 2008 to support direct orders.
