The Spring/Summer 2009 collection is a great time to amp up our coverage, with the perfectly spring-appropriate range full of fresh colors, airy and blossoming designs, delicate embroidery, and everyday casual styles. This new collection looks perfect to wear as everyday underwear – it’s not so fancy that you wouldn’t want to wear it during the day, but it’s still pretty enough that you’ll want someone to see you in it when you get home! With bras in sizes up to a G cup and panties up to size 18, almost everyone will be able to find something to fit and flatter. Here are some of my favorites:

First up, the Dusk style features oversized florals in lilac and midnight blue. The satin plunge bra makes a set with boyshorts or a thong.

Secret Garden is light and airy with delicate lace and ruffles adorned with an embellished floral design.

Created by actress Sadie Frost and fashion designer Jemima French for Debenhams, the Floozie line is bright, frilly and luxurious.

Having started in 1999 creating fancy knickers, the girls may have graduated to other fashions over the years, but there is no doubt that their lingerie is equally as appealing today as almost ten years ago. Plenty of lace, ribbons and bows, this line is truly sexy, flirty and girlish. I love how the outside of the panties are printed one design while the inside lining is fun polka dots. The pink camisole with black polka dots is wonderful with its subtle black ribbon around the neckline and around the frill layered hem.

Thongs, hipsters, ruffle shorts, padded bras and camisoles are offered in sizes six through eighteen. While this is considered a summer collection, it is sweet enough to wear anytime of the year.

The Sun business section is reporting that John Lovering will stand down as chairman and be replaced by Rob Templeman. “It follows a strong period of trading which has seen Debenhams win back share of the clothing market. The upturn came after a revamp of its ranges with new designs by big names including Jasper Conran, Julien Macdonald and John Rocha. The firm also used model Nell McAndrew to promote its Adore Moi lingerie range.”.

The British press will never miss an opportunity to throw a little skin at any article, but could the choice of Nell McAndrew have really helped turn around the profits at this venerable institution? Nell McAndrew was the original Lara Croft of Tomb Raider fame posing for the game character and becoming the character in real life for different releases of the game. She was of course replaced by Angelina Jolie for the movie.

I’m sure the male guests at the Debenhams event weren’t complaining. She looks great, but — is it just me, or does her bustier look like it’s NOT a good fit? :s Enjoy the photos!

This Little Dots set, available for just $90 for both the Little Dots padded balcony bra and the Little Dots brief. The padded balcony bra from Mimi Holliday has very supportive underwire cups with soft, silk chiffon finishing and a polka dot print. The straps have a satin finish and the pretty ribbons make the bra look very playful and teen-ish. The same sexy girlish ribbon detail can be found on the front of the briefs too.

The quality is right, as to be expected from a Damaris brand, and the looks are spot on if you’re looking for young and girly lingerie. We like!
