If you are familiar with Cazar in Germany, Etam is like the discount version with house labels and cheap pricing. Etam’s site is available only in French. They ship to most French speaking countries (that doesn’t include the US) and really covers most of Europe including the UK.

Recently, Etam started The Baby Project which is a line of maternity clothes. Blending tanks, yoga pants, and sassy knee highs, the Etam collection is delightful in plum, eggplant, and lavender colours. Prices range from 12 € to 45 € for the various pieces. The picture shows most of the offering from Etam excluding some mom briefs and maternity bras.

Aliza is the daughter of Janet Reger, who died in 2005. Janet started the company in 1953. Aliza now runs both companies.

Naughty Janet is a chance for Aliza to modernize her understanding of lingerie. The collection certainly lives up to the brand name. Bras are reduced to strings outlining the shape of a bra and even knickers are missing key pieces that would be needed for everyday use. The collection is bold and daring. Aliza loves to drape the female body. She does this with fringe-like coverage in bras and knickers using ribbon, jewelry, and strips of fabrics. Aliza currently has 24 collections in the Naughty Janet range. Pricing runs on the high side. A full kit from any of the collections will likely include bra, knickers, and some sort of accessory — handcuffs, choker, playful whip, or mask. A full kit will also be around 200-250 £ (around 450 US).

Judging from these first sets it’s going to be a beautiful collection with lots of floral embroideries and some eye-catching ‘little specials’ like the sheer/flower bra (which I love and want!).

I hadn’t really decided yet on which one of these two items to go for, but, the cazar stock helped me out, only the beautiful bra is still available in my size…

First, the photo’s. The Cotton Club ORO series have a (bright!) lime green variety and I love it. I adore the camisole (at €195/$2 I’m quite sure Bert is happy it’s out of stock). The bra is almost as pretty – €98,90/$130.

Charly sent me the cazar.de website, and I’ve decided to give it a go and see how it goes…

First off: their stocklist. They’ve got loads and loads and loads of brands and a great selection of styles. The bigger names (Parah, Princesse tam tam, Lejaby, Huit, Guia La Bruna, …) are combined with some great and excitingCristina Iaia at cazar.de smaller brands like Nafytoo and Lola Luna. To be honest: you can spend hours browsing their stocklist and not even come close to seeing everything… You’ll think you’ve seen it all, and then suddenly pieces from brands they never mention pop up on your screen… Great stuff! (The photo’s attached are from Cristina Iaia’s collection in stock at cazar.de!)

Prices are very competitive, with a great selection of items on sale at all times. We’ll be zooming in on some of these pieces in the next few days because they are so very interesting…

The order process? I’ll keep you posted! I’m doing an order today, just to see if this one lives up to the promising expectations! :D
