Eschewing experienced models, Bravissimo called their customers to find the newest group of ladies to grace their ad campaigns. After 600 applicants and 40 castings, they narrowed the list down to the top 5: Jess Edwards, Leela Tikador, Katie Hardy, Riann Quinn and Patricia Arteaga. The women range in age from 21-34 and they are all the traditional “Bravissimo body” – curvy and busty!

Jess Edwards, a 21-year old who wears a 30HH, said,

“It’s given me confidence in myself and in my body…I’m also really proud of myself, that I’ve had the confidence to show off my curves to the nation.”

Anna Price, Bravissimo spokesman told the Daily Mail,

“The Bravissimo campaign promotes healthy body image by showing that real women can look fantastic too…Our customers have told us that they would prefer to see images of real women than of models. The girls we have chosen are beautiful yet attainable.”
