Our friends over at Bella Bella Boutique will be stocking the brand for the first time, and announce it on their site as: “Designed in Miami and Made in Colombia, Luca Lingerie is a fun, young, and vibrant lingerie brand with a European flair and emphasis on non-wired soft cup bras.”

Romanian born designer, Claudia Luca, believes in creating supportive, comfortable and stylish bras with no underwiring. I have yet to try one of these out, but the photos look very basic, girly and wearable… Obviously something that can work in the US too.

Luxurious lingerie label Scelestia is based in Colombia, where they’ve built a great reputation for building some of the most high-end lingerie available in South America.

Earlier this week, US-based shop Bella Bella Boutique announced they’ll be stocking Scelestia lingerie. Other than this info they have on their sales page – resources are VERY limited.

“Scelestia is a brand of ultra fine lingerie from Colombia. The collections are characterized by the maximum care of details, the choice of materials and design, resulting in a collection aesthetically appealing and technically perfect. The collections have cuts and details of haute couture, combined with materials of excellent quality in terms of fabrics, lace, satines, tulles, and tapes. All this coupled with a careful preparation to offer full pledge of charm and seduction. Scelestia lingerie is a Divine Inspiration!”

Danilo Venturi was hired to create something ‘La Perlike’ and that resulted in two La Perla albums: La Perla Noir and La Perla Black Label.

We found both of these at Bella Bella Boutique, and shop owner Aline Machado was kind enough to give us a description of both:

“With La Perla Black Label music, Venturi, musician himself, has supplied some exclusive tunes (among which one featuring top Nu Jazz singer Isabelle Antena) to go with more famous material by artists like Tosca, Nouvelle Vague (remixed by Thievery Corporation), Monte La Rue and Irma’s own Ohm Guru (with an unreleased track!) and Arcoiris. Overall the music style could be described as smooth and silky chilled lounge beats with a few dashes of middle-eastern influence.”

Colorful prints mixed with delicate lace can work, but these are a tiny bit over the top if you ask me… The rose-embroidered plunge bra looks great in the dark photo, but I think that’s more because of the photographer… ;)

What I do like though are the panties! The brazilian cut boyshorts are amazing and will make your bum look better! I’m a thong-girl myself but these really are sexy and flattering…

I realize this one sounds really negative, but it’s my personal view on the looks of the pieces. Expect to see diNeila in more high end magazines since the label IS getting good review from editors. They’re in Elle magazine this month showcasing a style in the swimwear range — so they’re obviously doing SOMETHING right! :)
