Taylor, who walked the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, was photographed with the original Hipster model, Australian bombshell Sarah Murdoch, who reportedly refused to be photographed in the style because she is pregnant – although you can barely tell from the (shoddy) image! Black truly is slimming.

I recently had the chance to visit the Pfiff showroom and see not only that group, but the rest of the Spring/Summer Collection (Autumn/Winter too, but more about that later!). As expected, the collection does not disappoint by matching exquisite design and detail with elegant (yet, supportive and comfortable) fabrics.

Pfiff Breadth of SerenityBreadth of Serenity is just that indeed! A clean, white double layered mesh is topped with a vibrant, royal purple scrolling embroidery, which immediately transported me to the Mediterranean in my mind! The group has something to offer everyone. The lightly lined balconette bra accomodates cups A-D, while the lightly padded full coverage bra fits C-F cups. Pfiff Dramatic EntrancesFor the ultimate in sophistication, Dramatic Entrances pairs a soft, tactel microfiber with Leavers lace and mesh. The palest green is accented with an inky black in a group reflecting the Art Deco style. Again, amazing detailing is featured throughout and sizes A-F are provided options through the fashionable demi padded push up bra and lightly lined full coverage bra.

The tanga features a unique, lined mesh cut out detail in the back as well as a double banded side while the wide-side thong features detachable garters! For more coverage, choose the hipster. Additional options include a lightly padded underwire bustier and a chemise with an adjustable tie back. This group is so fantastic and detailed, it could have been called Dramatic Exits as well!

The US department store has featured the intimates line, named Simply Vera and designed exclusively for the store, since September 2007. I’ll warn you before you get too excited: the Kohl’s line is nothing like the gowns and chemises we’ve seen before. But it is a line of elegant basics with just a bit more grace than other everyday bras and panties (plus a few more fun items thrown in for good measure!). The intimates selection complements the larger range of misses clothing designed by Wang for the store.

Of the collection, Wang said, “Simply Vera Vera Wang is not just fashion, but a total philosophy about life and style.” I’m a fan of the seamless hipster, which is one of the most comfortable and invisible ones I’ve tried yet – great for days I’m not in the mood for a thong but still don’t want panty lines to show!

The only disappointment I have in Brastop is that I don’t think it’s possible to search the whole site for one size all at once – so anyone browsing should make sure to click all sale banners on the home page and the size-specific categories on the left-hand menu.
