We’ve decided to make some long-term changes to, and this might result in some more downtime in the next couple days.

Our server went down last night, and it took us over 20 hours to get it fully restored. The site should be okay for now, but we are planning some hardware updates in the near future to make sure this doesn’t happen again in 2010.

Our service provider, ServInt, is working with us to ensure stability in the next few days and analyze what happened to the site.

We apologize for everyone trying to access the site while we were down, and would like to wish you a happy New Year’s Eve while we’re at it! :)

The previous "TLP" Lay-Out

After years of working on this blog as a team, and seeing so many things change, we’ve decided to finally change the look and feel of our site too. We believe we’ve kept it sober, readable and content-oriented, and hope you all feel like this is an improvement.

Some of the most important changes: photos will be a little larger, the content area has been widened, and some minor technical bugs we had before should be fixed now as well.

The forums have not yet been given their makeover, but we do hope to get to that in the next couple weeks.

Obviously, we’re only human. So, if you were to find problems or glitches, please let us know using the comments, and we’ll gladly try and fix them asap!

Just a very quick update on the technical issues we’re having on the forums… Today, we’ve upgraded our server which also meant updating some of the software it’s running on. Apparently, one of the software updates wasn’t compatible with the forum software we’re using, which means we have to find a solution to make sure these can be in the future…

This can take a couple days, but we promise to be back as soon as we find a solution for this. We’re working on it! ;-)
