All of her knickers are handmade and orders are taken through Joanna’s website and small offline shops. A sweet and delicate collection, there are seven pictures of available knickers on the website ranging in colours of pink, blue, purple, yellow, peach and red in both solid colours and prints. Because the knickers are made from end of line remnants and throw away pieces, I would assume that the colours and prints seen are not the actual material that is received. It appears as though when ordering, the customer chooses the design and provides all information relating to her choice of knickers.

Further, the knickers come in two types, both French with the open leg, and Anglaise with elastic around the leg. The key ingredients in the making of the beautiful knickers is comfort and feminine styling and one can clearly see by the photos that these are definitely made for classy ladies. The bra tops are triangle shaped tops with tie strings around the neck and under the bust.

Although the website seems to be from 2006, there are many recent testimonials throughout the internet from women indicating that the garments are excellent quality and beautifully made. Considering the raw materials are scrap pieces of fabric, this tiny eco-lingerie label is truly decadent.

Camille is a wonderful collection of silk panties, chemise, babydoll, bra, suspender (garter) and string. Three selections of panties, French knickers, hip-hugging briefs, and string thong, make purchasing a difficult choice. Blue flowers with black accent embroidery meticulously placed over the pink or blue silk with a tiny bow on the knickers’ waistband, ribbon detailing on the briefs, and brown stretch ruffle on the thong are all elegant designs. Matching underwire bra and suspender work perfectly with the thong creating a very sexy yet stated outfit. The babydoll with lined embroidered cups, delicate, adjustable straps and cross over front combines with any of the three style panties making a sweet little ensemble. But the chemise is striking, made of six panels, lace bust, deep lace hem, and tiny bows adorning the hem and middle of the breasts.

Tivoli, a more revealing collection than the Camille as the garments are not lined in the bust area, includes a camisole, French knickers, bra, briefs, suspender, chemise, nightdress and string panties. Sumptuous, three-quarter length nightdress is exciting with its pretty laced, single side split, tiny rosebud, spaghetti straps and lace bust.

Both the camisole and chemise are equally pretty. But the Tivoli thong is even sweeter than the Camille as the silk is completely covered with stretch lace in the shape of a panty ending with a tulle frill.

Further, Sulis Silks’ luxurious plain silk kimonos match in colour to the above selections allowing the purchaser to add more pieces to their own collection. Based in the UK, Sulis Silks ships internationally and offers sizes from ten to twenty.

Presently Sophistikitten offers three styles of knickers including French Knickers, Silk French Knickers, and the Tie Side Silk Knickers. For this year, Gonzales Underwear’s Irma la Douce was launched in Lyon for 2008 delivery. The collection is made up of 30 pieces with seasonal additions and colour changes. An absolutely gorgeous collection if you ask me. I would never guess this was a South-American brand, by the way. The pieces look extremely European — and I mean that in the most positive way possible. Like I said — more is on the Amor Latino website.
