The new Spring/Summer Collection 2010 combines the typical Wundervoll understatement with new impulses and trends that emphasize strong, self-confident femininity with exciting contours and dynamic forms. “Each new collection is something special to us”, says label founder Matthias Jaschke. “For the Spring/Summer Collection 2010, we stay true to our demands of clear designs and fine details, while setting new trends with innovative, sustainable materials.”

Exotic “African tribal art” and the “art deco style” form the source of inspiration for the new Wundervoll collection, which combines the elegance of form with precious materials and the sensuality of these themes. The geometric surfaces are an attractive eye-catcher, accentuated with piping trim that create structure and lend the design particularly vibrant impulses.

One new feature of this collection is the material Biophyl. Biophyl is obtained from a renewable resource (corn) and during manufacturing it produces an extremely low level of CO2 emissions (63% less than with nylon). The slightly sheer, net-like material is pleasantly soft on the skin and extremely stretchable, which makes it quite comfortable to wear and at the same time very easy to care for. The linear and dynamic shapes of the Soft Bra with its optional halter neck, wireless Triangle Bra and Balconette Bra with straps that can criss-cross, as well as the French knickers, hipsters, and the characteristic Wundervoll high-waist panties, all accentuate the embroidered diamond pattern.

Further models such as the Soft Bra, Shell Bra and Bra Top, as well as various panty designs are all produced from wonderfully fine silk jersey that provides luxurious sheen and beautiful draping, and all of them can be mixed and matched with one another. Rose Blush is a subtle collection with a true English rose feel. The vintage styles inject a hint of delicacy, perfect for any demure bride. The Forever Blue collection is decorated with elegant satin bows, the perfect ‘something blue’ for the day to remember.

Purrfect Pineapples has been owned and operated by fashion designer Erika Shuhendler since 2004. Cruelty-free means that everything we produce is sweat-shop and animal free. Most of our garments are hand silk-screened, and everything is professionally sewn and serged for a high-quality product. Our artistic influences range from tattoo imagery to Japanese street fashion and everything in between. Our products are hand-made and original. This means that while our garments may cost a bit more than your average mall item, you are paying for fair wages, quality and an original product.

The bras are all soft cup and generally look like some variation of the triangle bra. Black and purple dominate the colours being used through out the collection.

Knickers are between $32 and $55 US. There are bikini cut knickers (most near the $32) and “Ruffle Butt Panties” for $55. Below, are the hot pink and black silkscreened diamond ruffle-butt panties and the lilac mesh ruffle-butt panties. Both are $55 for S,M,L while XL or Custom is an additional $5.

Suspenders are also available. The “basic” comes in a dozen or more colour choices and just as many coloured bow choices to adorn the suspenders. Suspenders in M or L are $47 US and $5 more for XL or custom.

Enamore Lingerie for Fall/Winter 2009-2010

Enamore is delighted to announce that this winter, they’ll be launching their first line of underwired bras! Enamore is known for producing their fashion from the finest organic and sustainable fabrics including hemp, cotton, Soya and silk sourced from accredited suppliers. The label has an extensive history in lingerie, but is only now really “completing” their range of underwear with underwired bras.

This development has been a long time in the making at Enamore and Managing Director Jennifer Ambrose is very proud of the results. The first 2 styles available will be Lady Coco (black with ivory trims, top of the image on the right!) and Bedrock (leopard print with black trim, third line of the image) both made from a soft bamboo jersey. The bras are all beautifully cut and sewn in Wales.

Enamore is starting this line in B, C & D cup sizes and 32, 34 & 36 back sizes, however they told us they do hope to expand the range to cater for larger sizes in 2010.

Lavit Lucky Panties

In this very competitive market, Lavit Lingerie has managed to stand out from the crowd with its unique designs and fabrics. Laura, Vivi and Tina – owners of Lavit – have created different pieces that are very comfortable and sexy.

In keeping with Lavit’s trademark of paying attention to even the smallest detail, Lavit is proud to announce the Hudson collection. Made out of bamboo, this simple yet comfortable collection was inspired by the beautiful Brazilian Flora and a desire to preserve our planet. The Hudson pieces come in a cute organic/raw cotton bag that can always be used to protect your undergarments. Lavit will donate two percent of the gross sales of the Hudson line to plant trees in the Brazilian rain forest.

Another range recently added is the Chantal Collection, which is made out of Italian tulle and adorned with lace details. It’s a very flirty and sexy collection, great for bridal occasions or a romantic weekend. Also new is Calista, made of very soft embroidered tulle.

While an Australian company, the products are made by American Apparel, a huge Los Angeles enterprise with the long standing belief of excellent worker conditions in an industry that has been considered “sweat shop” based. The most interesting part about the bras that Fully Stocked sells is they are “latchless”, meaning that there are no extra metal or plastic pieces to be thrown away when the bra is discarded. Also, the cup support is derived from soft interlock cotton.

Although a small selection to offer, a large thirty percent of the profits from thongs, high waist short-shorts, feminine boy briefs, bras, and camisoles are donated to conservation causes such as Bush Heritage Australia, Chimpanzee Conservation and the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

Two collections called Moonlight White and Heavenly Pink, a combination of floral and pink solid fabrics, are made up of a chemise, v-neck top, camisole, PJ pants, and robe. Each can be purchased individually or in already made sets. In extra small, small, medium, and large, the garments are quite pretty and look extremely comfortable for sleeping and lounging. The nice part about both these collections is each piece can be worn with another. And the pieces are generously styled with the tops falling down to the hips, the chemise draping at knee length, the wide leg pants to the ankle bone, and the robe to the knee.

Each piece is finished with deep hems, side vents, satin stitching to refine the style… I like it!

Camisole & Short Set

This lustrous black bamboo satin camisole and ruffle short set is trimmed with icing pink lace and candy pink satin bows. The cami is cut on the bias and features adjustable straps for an easy fit. Each set comes with a matching garter belt!
