Urban Fox was started in 2007 following the fate-kissed meeting of Midwest-natives Megan Power and Lizzie Cook. With a collective 11 years of styling and design on movie and commercial sets between them, they are well versed in making people look and feel their best, and they appreciate the beauty and versatility of great designs.

One of only a handful of eco-friendly undies companies in North America, Urban Fox aims to prove that being green and being sexy need not be mutually exclusive. In addition to helping the environment, both designers have a commitment to keeping jobs local and resources in the urban communities that shaped them.

We first reported on them about eight months ago, and it seems like they’ve been doing great ever since!

A fabulous looking eco-lingerie label made of organic cotton and bamboo, the designs and colours are inviting. Pictures of models reading books and in acrobatic poses like at the circus make Urban Fox garments look very comfortable. In addition to the environmentally friendly materials, the undies and loungewear are all handmade.

Boy shorts, matching camisoles, lace undies and beautiful long stockings make up this collection in pink, cream, blue, yellow and gray. One pair of panties even comes lovingly decorated with hand painted stars.

Urban Fox Lingerie

Created by designers Lizzie Cook and Megan Power, in 2006, they both realized that there was a void in the organic lingerie market and at the same time, they knew they had the abilities to design their own small label. At present, the website does not offer online ordering so international sales are not possible. It appears as though they are only sold in two boutiques in California but for such a new and upcoming label, they are sure to become very popular.
