The “queen of bottom cleavage” again delivers the trademark bum-highlighting knickers along with other luxurious pieces. In addition to the traditional knickers with cutouts and big bows, the corset-lacing knickers are more present than ever in this year’s autumn/winter collection. There is plenty of lace and seductive translucent fabrics, as well as a new style of “floppy-side” knicker in the Dahlia and Spherical ranges. The “floppy-side” knickers have draped tulle at the sides joining the front and back panels. We also see a waspie, a bodysuit that leaves very little to the imagination, and a floor-length nightie – a style Damaris hasn’t released since the earliest collections! They’ve just debuted a new swimwear line, and the Spring/Summer lingerie collection is filled with creamy laces, splashes of electric color, and interesting knickers. I have a piece from the new collection myself and I am in love with it! Comprised mainly of balcony bras, with some coordinating plunge bras also included, the new collection also features more voluminous knickers.

This summer, our readers who are more modest can indulge in chiffon and lace “big knickers” that completely cover their assets. While there are plenty of trailing bows, g-strings, and barely-there panties, there is a distinct lack of the trademark “butt cleavage” this season. ES Magazine has said of the brand:

“Damaris designs the cheekiest knickers in the world…the underwear industry has been rocked by them, [they’re] so original, so popular.”

While the line certainly did not disappoint when it comes to “cheeky knickers,” I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the designs. They seem to be rehashed versions of the Spring/Summer collection. Don’t get me wrong – everything is still gorgeous and luxurious. I just get the feeling that I’ve seen it all before. The good thing, of course, is that if you had a favorite design earlier in the year, there is probably a new version for you to enjoy! Check out these photos:

What I really love about these collections is that they’re basically made up of one beautiful bra (oozing with decadence, of course) and several pairs of panties that coordinate, so you can pin down your personal style exactly. Just look at the gorgeous details on these sets! I especially love the panties, because they are so unexpected and deliciously unique. My favorite are those bows…I’m just drooling over them! For this collection only, Damaris takes a brief break from their trademark egg blue boxes and instead wraps their beautiful pieces in a matte black hatbox with an embossed gold logo and gross grain handles. What a perfect way to give Damaris as a gift (or to just pamper yourself, of course)!

And of course I cannot leave out Mimi Holliday, the younger, girlier, and less exclusive label by Damaris. We’ve talked about Mimi Holliday before, but these are some newer designs from this year that I couldn’t help but show you. These designs are fresher, younger, and more suited for every day – what’s more, they are far less expensive which means more people can afford the Damaris luxury! That’s always a good thing!

This Little Dots set, available for just $90 for both the Little Dots padded balcony bra and the Little Dots brief. The padded balcony bra from Mimi Holliday has very supportive underwire cups with soft, silk chiffon finishing and a polka dot print. The straps have a satin finish and the pretty ribbons make the bra look very playful and teen-ish. The same sexy girlish ribbon detail can be found on the front of the briefs too.

The quality is right, as to be expected from a Damaris brand, and the looks are spot on if you’re looking for young and girly lingerie. We like!
