According to Glamorous Amorous, Strumpet & Pink was founded in 2002 by Lisa Z Morgan and Melanie Probert. They focus on limited-edition handmade knickers, using pure silk, satin, chiffon, and crepe. Morgan and Probert say of their creations,

“Our prime concern; how does a woman actually feel when she wears one of our creations. It is this experience that makes our knickers beautiful. Strumpet & Pink achieve this by embodying the sensibilities of the flower i.e beauty, fragility, sexuality and joy and combining these with the sensuous qualities of pure silk crepe, satin, chiffon and tulle. The knickers are cut on the bias in such a way as to trace and disclose the contours of the female form. Our knickers brim with contradictions; they feel beautiful, sensuous, humorous, naïve, sexual, confident and playful. Each pair holds a discovery…”

The only drawback? The price. You’ll have to save your pennies for these – if you even have to ask, you probably can’t afford it Prices vary, but you can expect to pay £200 to over £500 for these beauties. So for me, they will remain firmly in my dreams! But if you can spare the cash, you can find a selection at Glamorous Amorous, Catriona MacKechnie, Coco de Mer, and Faire Frou Frou.

This pale pink, sweetheart neckline, underbust corset is silk with a black lace overlay and floral applique. It has six shirred garters with satin bows.

I don’t think I have to point out that these designs are unusual and definitely not for the shy! Sold internationally to high-end boutiques and online, Puimond Corsets are named after the designer, Puimond himself. Based in Los Angeles, Puimond has been making corsets professionally since 1997, and told TLP that he is “obsessed with detail.”

Every Puimond corset is made to order by a selection of style, size, and materials. The corsets themselves are made of heavy busk closures, fabrics, and leathers, and each corset is lined with imported English cotton Coutil. Puimond says that standard-sized corsets fit as well as custom or made-to-measure corsets about 90% of the time, but he also offers custom corsets, which he has made for celebrities and shows. All of his corsets are strong and sturdy enough to withstand any tightlacing routine. And as you can see from the photos above, you can get a very dramatic hourglass figure with a Puimond corset! I love these. They look decadent and super-luxurious — too bad pieces start at $374.00. That’s a lot of money…

Jeweler Martin Katz made this one-of-a-kind creation with 3,575 black diamonds, 117 certified 1-carat round diamonds, 34 rubies, and 2 spotlight black drop diamonds totaling 100 carats. The total carat weight is 1500 ct. and the bra is designed for maximum cleavage enhancement. I think the photo speaks for itself here!

Naughty Janet is a chance for Aliza to modernize her understanding of lingerie. The collection certainly lives up to the brand name. Bras are reduced to strings outlining the shape of a bra and even knickers are missing key pieces that would be needed for everyday use. The collection is bold and daring. Aliza loves to drape the female body. She does this with fringe-like coverage in bras and knickers using ribbon, jewelry, and strips of fabrics. Aliza currently has 24 collections in the Naughty Janet range. Pricing runs on the high side. A full kit from any of the collections will likely include bra, knickers, and some sort of accessory — handcuffs, choker, playful whip, or mask.
