This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday. For me, that means the holiday will be pretty low-key. I’ll be meeting my guy for lunch at a favorite restaurant, but we’ll probably be spending the evening at home like a lot of other couples who have work or school the next morning.

The Ari Dein Love Affair Continues…

The year is 1930. In a suite at the Waldorf-Astoria, a young woman awakes, removes her silk eye mask from her eyes, and lets in the sun on a beautiful June morning. Just the other day I got my latest edition of Marie Claire in the mail. I was excited to read up on all the Sex and the City 2 gossip. As I flipped through, I immediately recognized a beautiful cami and tap pant set. I read the credits and it was indeed the Deco Lace collection from Layla L’obatti! Featured back in February on TLP, this classy, sophisticated, and opulent collection appears in the spread ‘Shop the Cover Shoot’ along side SATC‘s Kristin Davis. How fitting! A New York brand for a quintessential New York woman. The magazine hits newsstands May 11th so be sure to pick up a copy.

Gilligan & O’Malley at Target US

We’ve shown you the Liberty of London lingerie at Target, but there was another collection of lingerie that caught my eye on my trip as well. The collection is from Gilligan & O’Malley – the brand is a Target staple and has been around for at least a few years, but this season’s styles are the first to catch my attention in quite a while. The bras, panties, tap pants, camisoles, pajama pants, robes, and gowns are available in floral prints that have a soft watercolor effect to them, echoing one of this season’s hottest clothing trends!

The prices are incredibly reasonable ($8 panties, $17 camis, $20 bras) so lingerie from this collection is a perfect inexpensive way to treat yourself. I ended up buying one of the chiffon hipsters and a long gown. I haven’t had a chance to wash or wear them yet, but they are very pretty and the fabric feels wonderfully breezy! You can buy in the store or online (online shoppers will also get free shipping through April 24!).
