In fact, their slogan is “The World’s Finest Underwear”. And while they may be a luxury line, when you view the page of stockists, you only find one online retailer. Admittedly, in the company profile, they state that Zimmerli is a micro-niche and when I did an internet search, many sites did come up so most likely their supply chain is not as narrow as the website suggests.Zimmerli of Switzerland Belle de Jour But the undergarments do look beautiful and the price is certainly one that suggests luxury so I wanted to take a moment and mention the brand.

Zimmerli offer camisoles, underpants and pyjamas in cotton, wool, silk, bamboo and Pureness micromodal adorned with delicate pieces of stretch French lace. Their newest ladies’ collections for 2008 are Belle de Jour, a stretchy, skin-friendly fabric knitted without side seams and perfect for keeping the skin dry, as well as, Attitudes, made with the finest Pima cotton and enhanced with Lycra for perfect fit. This is a simple but elegant collection containing a v-neck tank top, sleeveless shell, short and long sleeve shirts, rio bikini, regular panty and hipster panty.

Having a quick peek at their older collections, I am sorry that I did not know about this label earlier.
