Valege has been featured on TLP before (here and here). The company is based in France and has a company store in French and English. For Summer 2009, they have four lines including swimwear. These pieces are from the current collection and are currently available.

On the left is the Veronika in light blue satin for 9.90 – 25.90 €. On the right, the Dakota. This is available in the fierce animal print shown or black for 9.90 – 29.90 €.

On the left, the Eulaly for 9.90 – 29.90 €. This has a nice wider band on the knicker. On the right, the Volodia in a nice coral-like colour for 9.90 – 21.90 €.

A very practical Myria on the left for 9.90 – 23.90 €. On the right, a very pretty and almost innocent slip called “Patience” for 32.00 – 35.00 €. For those looking for the racier side of Valege, Flirty or Dirty is still selling the Deliana bra with open string for £29.95.

Valege Lingerie from France

Valege is a line out of France. They sell lingerie and swimsuits. This is not a pure design house, but I do think they design and sell their own line. In this way, they are similar to 1001 Dessous and Etam. All three of these brands are catering to the under 30 set and with an average bust smaller than found in the UK (36C and likely growing) ^stats». Although Valege does offer many of their briefs in size XL (which is infrequent at Etam) and it looks like Valege may even ship to the USA.

The site offers English translations, but oddly, you have to click English on every page until you get a feel for the shopping cart and then it works like any other system with an ability to add product and then check out when you are done.

The lines either carry names or are simply identified by their product ID. The Vilma is an attractive set available in three colours (shown in brown) and four pieces – a bra, suspender, tanga, or boy short. This is fairly typical of the entire offering.

The Charlottine is a nice two tone set. Again, the choices are bra and boy short, but this time there is also a basque and string. The bras are around € 25, the boy shorts are around € 15, and strings around 10 €.

Valege is the only online store I’ve seen that makes use of blurs for their multiple model photo shoots. They will often have two models in a single photo. They will use the same photo for two different product pages, and simply blur out the other model. Here are some examples.
