Ritratti sheer black robe and bra setOverall, loving it. The luxury designer has done some great bra and panties sets — but I’m simply adoring the more decadent pieces; the lavender camisole, the sheer robe, the sheer lace top, the babydoll and the breathtaking white dress. They’re true highlights of a great collection! They’re trying to retain their “designer of the year” trophy at the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris this week, I’m sure!

Now, that’s really where things go wrong.Ritratti Black Balconette and boyshorts Their website is an Italian-only little corporate info page, with links to collection photos in pdf files, and hardly any real eyecatchers… Why? I don’t know — but their luxurious pieces are not reflected in their somewhat unexistant PR-approach…

Luckily, we’re all about the lingerie, so we look beyond the mediocre promotion… Take a look at these beautiful photos (sorry, the quality is mediocre — don’t blame me!) of these excellent camis, balconettes and babydolls… enjoy!

So — today we take a look at the new Nancy Meyer website, and the improvements they’ve made! :)

First off all, they’ve kept the central position the designers have on their website. It’s super easy to browse through excellent labels such as La Perla, Eres, Wolford, Araks, Andres Sarda, Jean Yu, Janet Reger, John Galliano, Poet and many more! Again, that’s still Nancy Meyer’s strong point: the brands.

They have made searching their site a little easier.Carine Gilson Silk and Lace Camisole About a month ago, when they added the new I.D. Sarrieri, it took about a week for the items to appear in their searches — now, all seems to be working, even the latest collections. That’s so important, so well done! ;)

The most prominent update is the design. The website is even more pretty now, and still have that signature classy look. I enjoyed the simplicity of the Nancy Meyer website before — but browsing has only become simpler.

A superb sultry strapless corset-style bustier with pretty boning. Absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. The Nancy Meyer people say: “Cinematographic allure; flaunted and sophisticated screen-star luxury.”. It seems like screen-star luxury isn’t cheap: the bustier is down from $496 to $347.

Ritratti Splendore Couture Demi-Cup and thong3. Ritratti: Splendore Couture Bra & Thong
The set contains the Splendore Couture Demi-Cup Bra and the Splendore Couture String Thong. The bra is one of the most spectacular demi cups I’ve ever seen: romantic touch, beautiful swarovski detail, floral cut-out embroidery and the perfect “let’s put these babies on a lovely shelf and flaunt them”-allure. I love it. Too bad the bra is still good for a gigantic $298 hole in the purse, $111 for the matching thong. The set is down from $536.

Two sets, one bustier. A total discount of over $700. This is discouraging… ;)
