Blind violence leaves everyone with a sense of emptiness, and we were geniunly shocked by the news that Loumia and her husband were amongst the people killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks. Hiridjee and her husband were dining at the Oberoi Trident hotel where they were shot and killed by terrorist forces.

Poland has a long history of textile manufacturing and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has been embracing market economies. Freed from quotas and mandated manufacturing, many Polish textile companies are stepping on to the world stage.

Princess feels like a smaller, Polish version of Frederick’s of Hollywood. They have their own print catalog and a fairly broad offering. The collection from Princess seems to exemplify Polish design: plenty of ribbon, plenty of lace, and plenty of brocade. For some companies, this might be a recipe for disaster – producing something so sugary-sweet that it would lessen the appeal. Princess mixes these elements and delivers a very feminine product that looks well suited for the boudoir.

For 2008, Princess is changing their look or at least their model. For close to four years, every Princess design was modeled by the same woman. For this summer, the new model looks like she would be comfortable walking off the sand in Newport Beach in California.

princess lingerie lace bra setHere’s another one I love: the Princess Lace bra. Absolutely gorgeous champagne lace and a super-feminine and delicate design. Very sexy too. Matching boyshorts. Like it a lot! ;)

Also, Ever So Sexy is now selling all items individually. There’s still some complete sets to be found on the website, but they’re in the process of changing everything to individual product pages. We applaud that as it makes it easier to pick different sizing for different pieces.

Lastly they revised their shipping costs: Previously it was free for the UK and £5.00 for the rest of the world, but they decided that was a bit unfair for the European customers. So, now the structure is UK FREE, Europe £3.50. Rest of the World £5.00. Great news for everyone, seeing as the shipping costs are always a painful addition at the checkout for us European girls! ;)
