Bad news for all you fans of A Little Lingerie Company (but good news for anyone who pole dances!). A Little Lingerie Company has closed up shop as Jennifer Michelle, founder and owner, has decided to take a new direction. She is now PoleSkivvies, which is “workout wear by pole dancers, for pole dancers.” Keeping in mind common complaints by her fellow pole dancers as well as her own struggles with finding quality workout wear, she developed her own line to solve the problems she saw in the type of workout wear that was currently available.

Seeing as PoleSkivvies is athletic wear and not lingerie we won’t be covering it in the future, but we wanted to let you know what happened to ALLC! I just tried pole dancing for the first time a couple weeks ago, and while I did come home with bruised arms and thighs, I also had a blast and I can definitely see why Jennifer would want to pursue this direction! To learn more about PoleSkivvies, visit PoleSkivvies.com. PoleSkivvies is currently taking wholesale orders and will be until February 15, 2009. They aren’t being sold retail through the website, but on the website there is contact information so you can see which retailers near you will carry the line.

We wish Jennifer and PoleSkivvies all the luck with this new endeavor!
