It’s getting colder here in the US as winter is creeping up, and it’s time to start covering our legs before they freeze right off! Retro-inspired seamed stockings are as classic and glamorous as they come, but the new trend of having a bright or contrasting color seam adds an extra detail Jonathon Astonthat I find irresistible. It flashes ever-so-subtly as your cross your legs, and everyone will want to watch you walk away!

My fixation started with these nude and red Jonathan Aston stockings. I got a pair a few months ago, and have been desperately waiting for the fall to come so I can find an occasion to wear them out!

These stark backseams also have the great bonus of making your legs appear longer and leaner – so show them off! It is, however, a bit difficult to find a wide variety of colors. My dream would be to have a stocking wardrobe full of pairs similar to the Jonathan Aston ones, but in several different colors like purple or blue!
