The current selection isn’t too large, but Yandy told us they’re working hard on expanding their fine lingerie selection.

This is a time of year when we have a lot of new lingerie coming in, like this lovely bustier from the new Toulouse range from Luxxa. This is one of my own personal favourites among the new designs.

But behind the initial pleasure of parcel opening there is some anxiety. I can’t help wondering if we have chosen a winner or made a massive mistake and will be discounting like mad in a month or so to get rid of the line! Last year we tried asking our customers via our monthly newsletter what they thought of some of the designs we were considering. It seemed a good democratic way to make our stocking decisions and a sure fire way of ensuring items would sell but the responses were so variable we were scared to use the results as the basis for our decisions and carried on as before.

This brings me to how we make our purchasing decisions. Obviously we study trends and our own sales statistics. We also have a wish list facility on the site and we pull statistics from that in addition to reading The Lingerie Post avidly to pick up on the buzz among true lingerie fanatics. Then there are basic factors like quality standards and our house style but after that we are left with gut instinct. Yes, I did say gut instinct and finally, most important of all – wow factor. A new addition to our range must be capable of taking breath away. It may not always be my breath – it is a team decision after all. But the Toulouse design from Luxxa was definitely a heart stopping moment for me, while this amazingly tiny micro g-string from Lola Luna did it for Jen, my assistant and general woman of all work who puts me to shame for the number of hours she works – thanks Jen.

It is not an accident that I chose Luxxa and Lola Luna as examples of our purchasing decisions. Check out this Luxxa Cannes Open Bra string and suspenders set. A sexy quarter cup with superb floral embroidery — deep black silk and and a tiny (t/b)it naughty! The price tag is about $230 for the complete set (I’d like to apologize for the censorship on the photo, but ….)

Up next: The delicate Coemi Pink Satin Camisole set. An ever so pretty pink satin camisole with a sheer lace bust and center panel that is delicately embroidered and matches the lace panels in the sides of the matching knickers. The Polish brand Coemi is new at Ever So Sexy, but their pieces are looking really great and affordable!

Seeing as it’s hot outside here in Belgium (believe it or not the sun has been shining since Easter!) it’s this last collection I’ll be taking a closer look at! The first piece I love is the Rainbow Butterfly halter bandeau bikini. It’s one of the designs you’ll see all over the beach this summer (there’s a review on the way of a similar style bikini from Le Doux’ 2007 collection!), and this one combines the great design with a beautiful butterfly print and rainbow color pattern. I love it!

For those who don’t feel like wearing something loaded with bright colors, the Inca Gold halter bikini might be an option! It’s just as attention-grabbing (the gold looks really shiny! ) and sexy, so it’ll surely turn some heads.

Like I said, the shop has a lot more than this swimwear brand, so check them out!

Last but not least: shipping. Shipping costs are always a factor in buying online, and Ever so Sexy is very affordable on this always somewhat irritating extra expense. UK buyers get free shipping, US and EU-customers pay £5 (that’s about $10) extra. Not too bad if you ask me!

My personal favorite is the Chica Rica Argyle bikini. A sexy halter top and low-rise bottom in blue and pink plaid print. Too bad it’s sold out . A good alternative is the Sedona halter bikini with detachable ribbon detail. The price tag of €29.50 is pretty good considering the €59 original price.
