Love Jones is a perfect fit inside the Hard Rock with its rocker chic atmosphere. The walls are painted a bright orange with hot pink clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts adorning them. As you look above, sexy crossed legs peek from ceiling wearing fun (and sometimes racy) tights in spider, floral, or fishnet prints. Exciting and enticing, Love Jones enthralled us all!

She confirmed that they were comfortable, yet sexy.

Vixen is a busy college student. She was looking for something fun and comfortable to fit in with her hectic life. I introduced her to both Hanky Panky and Honeydew. She was very excited about finding the Honeydew Mesh Boyshorts in her favorite leopard pattern. She chose the ones with red lace!

Hennessy, a not-so-newlywed, who is always willing to try something new, was the daring lady who purchased red fishnets and Silver Sequin bloomers by Leg Avenue. This lovely lady is not just sassy, but also very sweet. For her sweet side, she purchased Honeydew Mesh Boyshorts in Leopard, like Vixen, and a beautiful, silky “Kiss Me” eye mask by Mary Green.

Peaches, the bride-to-be, chose the signature Love Jones thong to go with the theme of the outing. She also chose the above mentioned Silver Sequin bloomers by Leg Avenue. What goes with those? None other than Nippies by Bristols6, previously mentioned on TLP. The verdict – still out. She is still honeymooning!

Since I didn’t win big at the slots, I satisfied my lingerie fix by helping others choose new special somethings. There’s always the next time with the next bride-to-be!

My fixation started with these nude and red Jonathan Aston stockings. I got a pair a few months ago, and have been desperately waiting for the fall to come so I can find an occasion to wear them out!

My dream would be to have a stocking wardrobe full of pairs similar to the Jonathan Aston ones, but in several different colors like purple or blue! The wide variety of styles is refreshing; while some could be candidates for our “Trashy, Slutty…. Yet interesting!” forum topic, there are just as many pieces that are classy and pretty – so you can be naughty when you wanna be and nice when you wanna be! You will have no trouble finding charmuese and lace bridal babydolls, shirred bustiers, lace-up open-cup chemises, camigarters with cherry prints, leopard print babydolls, leather bustiers, and fishnets that make it look like you have ankle tattoos – all on one site! You can also find swimsuits and shoes on YumDrop – and I was delighted to find that the shoe section has the same wide variety as the main focus of the site (lingerie!). There are naughty nurse platform boots and marabou sandals, but there are also sexy Mary Jane pumps and rhinestone sandals perfect for a night out. YumDrop’s real strength is offering such a wide variety of pretty, sexy things, with sometimes daring designs, at very palatable prices.

While the pieces available on YumDrop.com are affordable, they still rival far more expensive brands as far as design and style goes – and the site offers these unique items in a way that is completely comprehensible, easy to navigate, and refreshingly thorough. There are multiple views available for most products, so you can see how a product looks from different angles or in different colors (on the product page, just hold your mouse over the view you want to see), as well as prominently displayed sizing charts to help you navigate incongruent sizing between brands and styles. This is especially helpful because many of the pieces available are decidedly for wearing at home, and don’t use standard sizing simply because support isn’t much of an issue with something you won’t wear every day. But YumDrop translates the manufacturers’ “small/medium/large” categories into band and cup sizes so you can be confident in ordering the correct size.

I recently received my package from YumDrop, and was even more pleased than I thought I would be. I ordered the Star Studded Panty, a pair of boyshorts with lace-up sides and “Sexy” silk-screened on the back. I couldn’t be happier with these – I’m a sucker for corset-style lacing, and my new panties are every bit as comfortable as my everyday boyshorts. They are, however, far more “rock-n-roll” than my everyday boyshorts!

I also got the Ruffled Rhumba Hot Pants. These are cute, but I’m torn about them. They aren’t really my style or much like anything else I own, but I’m trying to broaden my tastes and they are very flirty for lounging around at home. They seem a great accessory to a simple cami or short chemise.

My favorite, however, is the Pink Mesh and Lace Cami set. I am a larger cup size, so usually I shy away from anything with underbust seams because they never hit me correctly. I had to take a shot with this set, however, because it looked so good – and I’m glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the straps are adjustable, so even ladies with larger cups can adjust the top to fit them well. And I absolutely love the design.

The Pieces

The Strapless Corset is easy to put on yourself and adjusting the waist is just as easy. I really like the softness of the fabric and that adds to the experience seeing as this is a low-budget corset. I also wear this in combination with a pair of jeans to go out, the Chinese jacquard gives it a chic look (the garters are detachable, by the way). The matching g-string is really tiny and the fit is not perfect, because of the thickness of the fabric. Keep in mind the experience of wearing this kind of corset and a real high-end corset can’t be compared!

The Cherry Ruffle Camisole (Leg Avenue) looks so girly, playful and sexy (and it works in the bedroom). The matching g-string is made out of the same fabric as the camisole and has a great fit. I did have some trouble getting in to this one though (I needed help — there’s no video footage of this haha) — but hey, I don’t recommend this set to singles anyway.

My favorites were the black mesh ruffle bra and boy shorts, also from Leg Avenue. The black see-trough fabric makes the set very sexy and the pink details on both the bra and the boyshort add a playful touch. The fit of the bra is great, although it obviously doesn’t give a lot of support (honestly, that’s not what you’re looking for with this, right?). If you’re looking for a bedroom lingerie set I really recommend this one, it’s great value for money!

The Verdict

Don’t be scared to order from Fantasies In Lace — they’re not a gigantic retailer, but that has some positive aspects too. Pro’s: shipping was superfast, packaging was perfect, there’s personal assistance when ordering (I got a personal e-mail after my order, and my sizes were reviewed by the people at FIL!) and prices are competitive. The con’s: shipping across the ocean isn’t cheap, brand names aren’t always visible (I was surprised the black mesh was actually Leg Avenue) and they’re not the cheapest in the industry either.

A positive experience — more to follow!

Just as they promised, the package was non-descript for privacy purposes. I’m sure the standard postal service box from “RD Headquarters” drew no extra attention. Upon opening the box, I found my items carefully wrapped in red tissue paper. Also included was my packing slip, detailing my purchases, and a handy post card which not only outlined the return policies, but also offered me 15% off my next purchase!

So, I am sure you are all curious about what I ordered! I ordered the Black Ruffled Half-Back Panty. I really like them! They are cute and fun and fit well. I also ordered the Leg Avenue Sultry Sunrise Chemise. While beautiful on line (and in person), the fit just wasn’t for me. Luckily, Red Door has an easy return policy. So I am going to exchange it for something else… Suggestions?
