The new collection is ultra chic and glamorous and I’m happy to say that it is more versatile than ever to accommodate a wide variety of women. After introducing the F cup in two of its ranges (Miss La La and Macaron) last season, they are now expanding up to a G cup in the Just a Kiss range.

Some other special features include many convertible bra strap options to wear with sleeveless and backless tops and dresses. Below are just a few of the fabulous styles that will be launching.

Gracile: a super feminine set with two bold color options: sweet taupe with a pop of coral embroidery and lavendar with chartreuse embroidery.

Sereine: Classy-chic ribbons that create a graphic look that is extremely soft in look and feel.

Jalouse: luminous silky sheer fabric available in four gorgeous colors. Huit said this style is “sure to be a front-runner this season.”

Items in the collection will retail between $59 and $115 and will be available at several boutiques and department stores across the U.S., including Sugar Cookies and A Brief Affair in New York, Intima Carmel Lingerie in California, Basics Underneath in Louisiana and select Nordstrom locations.

Baiser Volé is French for Stolen Kisses — a floral set with tiny lace frills and a knit bow. Very glamorous!

A whiff of retro wafts on this line made of very refined Leavers ’scale’ motif lace and stretch muslin. Small tulle frills and airy bows highlight the femininity of this light and comfortable set… This set comes with a gift bag in intense hot red for Valentine’s Day — I can’t wait!

Echappée Belle
Satin-stitched support fabric with woven hemstitching cut-outs and a small vintage satin rosette for a structured retro line with refined details. Comfortable, yet classy.

Heure d’Eté
A micro modal lyrca and cotton/silk chiffon se, a subtle association of natural fibres and details — frilly shoulder straps and jabots; small mother-of-pearl buttons and bows on moduled shapes for extra comfort. Looks absolutely gorgeous and I can imagine quite a few summer brides looking absolutely gorgeous in this one!

If you are a fuller figured women, you may find that Dolce V offers a decent selection through 38E or 38F via brands like Freya and Fauve. I imagine that with early success, Dolce V will offer even more sizes in the future.The site is easy to navigate and offers search to help find pieces that interest you.

Each designer is broken out as a search filter and you can also shop by occasion or department. This level of flexibility is often skipped as some retail sites don’t break out by designer or don’t offer search. Dolce V offers tips for men and a break out section focusing on hot trends including a short Flash video. Unlike many online lingerie retailers, Dolce V offers free returns, so you can buy with the extra confidence that returns won’t be a hurdle.

One feature of the site I haven’t seen before is integrated zooming. Many sites open another window and launch a separate client to zoom in on details. Dolce V is using a technique to keep the zooming inside the same screen as the product details. When you land on a product page, you will see a medium size picture and two thumbnails. As the page loads, a larger version of the thumbnails is downloaded in the background. You can use the medium size picture to zoom in on details and use the thumbnails to change the picture. Besides having some great designers, I think this zoom feature makes online shopping easier and for now, makes Dolce V different than their competitors.

Luxurious brands such as Elle Macpherson Intimates, Mimi Holliday, Pfiff, and Huit adorn the walls as well as the more functional, everyday basics brands such as Le Mystere and Wacoal. As you walk through the store and examine these beautiful pieces, be careful to look for product reviews. With opinions from a student to a stay at home mom and everyone in between, these informative blurbs are one of the many little touches that make Journelle one-of-a-kind.

The space itself is exquisite! Roomy, yet intimate. Modern, yet classic. Full, yet uncluttered. Journelle is warm and inviting with its color palette of earthy neutrals from ecru to ebony and rich purples from lavender to eggplant.

My favorite element of the store is the innovative and unique fitting area. Individual rooms are spacious and feel much like your own bedroom or boudoir with comfortable seating accented by pretty pillows. The lighting is natural and the mirrors allow you a complete view of how fabulous you look in the merchandise. What’s lacking? Tiny, cramped space. Hard benches for tossing your bags. Harsh, fluorescent lighting. Maneuvering like a contortionist to see every angle.

Want a second opinion? Need a different size? Feel free to ask the helpful and attentive staff who not only provide one-on-one attention while you are exploring, but also take great care in wrapping your precious purchases when you are buying. While you’re waiting, pick up a few stocking stuffers (for your sister, your best friend, or, of course, yourself!). My personal favorites (Commando, Hanky Panky, and Honeydew) are conveniently located by the register. If you have already splurged, enjoy watching the video footage displayed on the screen behind this area.
