They are also a growing business acquiring many lines and signing business agreements. Currently, the company consists of the brands Fichissima Lingerie (TLP), Master swimwear for men, Black Body swimwear for young men, Aikon swimwear for families, and Lialsport swimwear for women. Lialsport has also inked a deal with the Spanish brand Bijoux Indiscrets (TLP) to resell the products in their Italian stores. Since we last visited Fichissima, they have become more international. The web site is available in English, Russian, and Italian.

The company has 800 stores around Italy and has over 40 years of manufacturing experience. They have taken Fichissima, Master, and Black Body to new Russian openings while Lialsport and Aikon remain Italian offerings. Lialsport also employs Valeria Meazzo. She is a veteran of the industry having worked at Verdissima (TLP) and Verde Veronica (TLP). Meazzo is responsible for the Fichissima lingerie line. She feminized the vernacular ‘fichissimo’ to describe a brand that is cool and trendy. Lialsport launched the line with a small Christmas collection and have built brand interest over the past three years.

The brand is available at BeCheeky (and they also sell through Amazon UK). The brand is listed at super German store Cazar but there are no pieces on the website currently. The first three photos on this page are from the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. The second three are from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection.

I’m happy to see this brand at BeCheeky, and I’d love to see this brand in broader distribution. Here is a video from their S/S 2009 show.

Beautiful models everywhere, sexy catwalks with Fall/Winter 2008/2009 lingerie from top labels from around the world and a great organisation allowing for all kinds of lingerie professionals and fanatics to meet. I had great fun, and met some great new people and brands!

Atmosphere Paris Salon de la lingerie 2008Obviously all of you will get a little treat too, though. Even though I’m anything but a professional photographer I took about 1500 photos during the catwalk shows today, and Mandolina and I will be updating the website with sneak previews of the Autumn/Winter 08-09 and some never seen before on TLP labels.

The amount of photos is pretty low, but the ones that are on there are really nice, and worth checking out… Don’t get too excited though, seeing as this Italian label doesn’t look like it’s one to please it’s non-Italian fans too much: an all-Italian website, and not too many international retailers! :(
