Inspired by the original Parisian couture house, Lucile founded by her great-great grandmother, the infamous Lady Duff Gordon (who introduced the first lingerie styles to Edwardian society), owner Camilla Blois wants to give women a shopping experience that they will never forget. Specialists in larger French lingerie brands and larger cup sizes, Lucile offer a bespoke fitting service including champagne refreshments and an in-house tailoring service to ensure a perfect fit for every woman.

Camilla says: “I love lingerie, it’s my favourite part of my wardrobe and is so important to how women feel about themselves. My grandmother had beautiful couture houses in Paris, London and New York and was the first house to make lingerie for women, freeing them from constrictive corsets and Victorian dress.”

Feeling frustrated at the lack of choice in desirable and functional lingerie available, Camilla decided to open her own store, “where women can come in and feel inspired by the beautiful products on offer and be comfortable buying for themselves in a private and luxurious environment. I thought of everything I wanted from a lingerie store and incorporated them all into Lucile.”

With brands such as Empreinte, Damaris, Mimi Holliday, Coco Ribbon and Heidi Klein swimwear being stocked by Lucile exclusively for the North West as well as gorgeous brands like Aubade, Marie-Jo, Prima Donna and Féraud night wear there is no longer an excuse for any woman not to have beautiful lingerie everyday of the week!
