When she was interviewed, she was ecstatic with her new undergarments and she looked really cute in her black tank top on top of a sweet pink bra with delicate bows on the straps. It reminded me to take a look at the label to see if anything new was happening.

Apparently two new lines were launched this year called “By Caprice Sleep” and “Glam By Caprice”. Like her lingerie and swim lines, these new collections are equally as intense with their gorgeous laces, fancy designs and sexy styles. And for those of you who are not yet familiar with the label, Caprice Bourret is a real person who has adorned countless magazine covers and who actually models her own lingerie pieces.

By Caprice Sleep includes four two piece sets called:

  • Can Can, a babydoll and thong ensemble available in Ebony/Candy. A magnificent pink candy coloured lace bra finished with pretty ribbon ties and candy hem is an incredible contrast to the overall black sheer chemise and thong.
  • For an even more provocative look, the Fleur babydoll in solid black chemise with lipstick red embroidery on the bust and finished with a dainty red ruffled hem makes a bold yet glamourous statement.
  • Still super sexy but a little more playful is the next set entitled Heartbeat that includes a camisole and boxer style shorts. The hot pink Modal cami is trimmed in sequins and white lace and goes great with the Satin black shorts covered with pink and white hearts.
  • Another cami and short set, the Heartdrops set offers a pink fabric with little white hearts and charms on the shorts.

They provide food, shoes and raincoats and are Fantasia Logo“dedicated to meeting the basic physical needs of financially disadvantaged children, levelling the playing field for them so they have the chance to reach their full potential”.

Five hundred guests, international models, local and international lingerie brands, entertainers and musicians participated in the high profile extravaganza. Some of the lingerie brands who showed their labels were Bendon, By Caprice, James & August, Triumph, UWC (The Underwear Club) and Zabu. According to newspaper reports, local participating models were Penny Picard and Tea Wood as well as Chantelle from America’s Next Top Model. Many other models from countries from around the world also participated in this extraordinary and worthwhile event.

With a goal of raising $50,000, thirteen designers created one of a kind items especially for the spectacular show. For a video report, click right here!

Rachel Hunter, born in New Zealand herself, will be giving the people down under (New Zealand and Australia) the chance to get their hands on her first beachwear collection early in July. Hello Magazine writes:

“The catwalk star was in her New Zealand homeland to present her new Lola line, which combines catwalk couture with beach culture. If she really wants to do what Elle has done, she’s going to have to step up and make something seriously pretty. Isn’t that what first collections are all about: dropping jaws?

Anyway, I’m not going to judge the whole Lola collection on a few photo’s… Count on us reporting back in july or august ;-) !
