I. Elevator Competition? They designed leak-resistant panties to help women feel confident any day of the month (but especially during their periods). Well, the company is finally up on its feet and selling like crazy! Renamed Sexy Period, the line includes bikinis, hipsters, and cheeky panties that protect you from embarrassing leaks and stains.

The fabric Sexy Period uses has 3 layers that accomplish this task. There are 2 absorbent layers (closest to your body) and 1 leak resistant layer (furthest from your body). The absorbent layers capture and wick away liquid to keep your skin dry, while the leak resistant layer traps spills and prevents leaks. The inner fabric layers are also black, so you don’t have to worry about yucky stains.

When we first introduced you to the line in that original post, I wondered how these panties would be different from OnGassmer Luxury Liners (which have unfortunately been discontinued now). Well, there are two big differences that make Sexy Period a far superior product as far as I’m concerned: 1) the designs are actually pretty darn cute and attractive, and 2) the leak-resistant fabric covers almost the whole panty (not just the gusset). This makes it not only more effective (I imagine), but also a lot more attractive because the whole section of the design is the black leak-resistant fabric, not just a random black section of fabric in the crotch.

I ordered a Blossoming Beauty bikini for myself, and I really like it. To be honest I haven’t had an occasion that really tested the leak-resistance powers yet, but it is reassuring to have that extra backup protection in case I ever do need it.You can see more or purchase at SexyPeriod.com.

Mermaid in England’s new range of AquaChange colour change swimwear is the world’s first swimwear to change colour and pattern on contact with water without the use of chemicals. The swimwear was a hit with celebrity stylist, Arabella Boyce, who chose several pieces of the colour change swimwear for the Fresh2o underwater shoots taking place at Summer Clothes Show 2010 over the weekend.

Is this as cool as it looks? Has anyone tried these? For some reason I’m pretty sure once you actually get out of the water you’ll have some sort of “in-between”-look, which is obviously not what you’re looking for. But, like Camelflage, I decided that if you genuinely have an embarrassing problem that this underwear can fix, then these may very well seem like a godsend. Still – it is a little funny. ;-)

Shreddies underwear claims to control odor caused by flatulence by using an “activated” carbon cloth that filters odor. While it’s obvious from the back that these panties are different than most, the styles are still surprisingly attractive from the front considering their purpose.

The idea came to Segal in the summer of 2008 when she was bored and hanging out with some friends. With nothing to amuse them, they began doodling on Segal’s only white bra with colored markers. Although Segal’s mother’s initial reaction was not entirely pleasant, she quickly changed her mind when she realized this could actually be a marketable idea. So far, Segal’s already sold over 1,000 of them.

Each white cotton bra comes with a set of six non-toxic markers and sells for a surprisingly low price, only $9.99! Also, the ink washes off in the machine, so you can create new doodles all the time. It comes in sizes 30AA to 42DD, although I don’t know any adult women that would be interested in the product, unless if buying for a young girl. Do you?

And the features don’t stop there—the bra talks to you too. If you get the ball into one of the cups (while it’s in its putting mat form of course), a built-in speaker belts “Nice Shot!”

The bra also comes equipped with pockets to house extra golf balls and tees, a flag pin that serves as a score pencil, and it is even paired with a short sport skirt boasting the words “Be Quiet” on the behind, which can also be used as a flag on the course.

According to the Telegraph, Triumph releases these novelty bras twice a year with the hopes of shedding light on specific issues, which in this case is the growing popularity of the relaxing sport among Japanese women.  Previous designs included the “Postal Bra,” which featured pockets for letters, a “Chopstick Bra” which was made of miso soup and rice bowls with a special holder for chopsticks and the previously shown on TLP: solar-powered bra, shopping-bag bra and marriage-hunting bra.
