Their spring/summer 2007 however doesn’t look that ambitious at all… A lot of quite conservative designs and light colors dominate the collection. I was about to browse back to previous collections to see whether or not this was just a collection that didn’t fit my taste, when I saw this absolutely gorgeous Night blues set… I had to include the full size photo, as it’s THAT pretty!

How great is that? Decadent ribbon usage, lovely embroidery and beautiful 3/4 cups that are just plain stunning. What a masterpiece!

I’m contacting the people at A Jour today… I just have to know where I can get my hands on this set, and at what price….

The Aubade Tresor Divin 3/4 Demi Underwire Bra in the photo top left is one of those bargains. The price is down from $129.00 to $64.50! The Tresor Divin 3/4 Demi has slightly more coverage than a ordinary Demi bra. Made with broderie anglaise and guipure lace that ensures a revealing and coquettish fit and tiny bows to add a final touch on each strap. It’s a great bra, and the sale price is extremely competitive!

Our second pick from the complete Aubade sale is the Bonne Aventure Demi Cup bra. It has embroidered motifs that flow across the voile in sweeping, rounded curves, creating a tattoo effect on the skin. The straps, in artistic printed satin braid end at the cup, are finished with a delicate furl of trimmings. This bra is another great bargain at a cheap $44.50 (down from $89!)!

We’re starting off this week with two very affordable underwired bras. The first one is the Sheer Ribbons underwired bra by Elle Macpherson Intimates. Fashioned in delicate sheer, striped tulle, this underwired bra has a rich embroidered lace trim around the top of the cups. With dainty straps and pretty ribbon details, it is highly feminine. At £28 it’s a very affordable bra seeing as it’s top quality…

Number two is the beautiful Allumette Sevres three quarter cup underwired bra. The delicate colour combinations of the gauzy net fabric, combined with the rich embroidery and edge finishing at the band, capture a cute modern take on the essence of French style. It’s priced exactly the same as the Elle Macpherson Intimates bra, so this could get interesting

We’ve chosen this lovely Jade Green & Black underwired bra with adjustable straps and 3/4 cups to receive a little bit of extra attention. It’s cheap (€22,95 / $29.5) and sexy. In combination with the 2-color embroided briefs (€12,95 / $16.5) this bra doesn’t look like a budget-solution at all. The site we’re linking to for prices is in Dutch, but if you send the people over at Bon´a Parte an e-mail in English we’re sure they’ll be able to get back to you. The Sevres collection is without doubt my favorite (even though their Venus line is extremely sexy too ). I tested the Sevres three quarter cup underwired bra earlier this week and It (and I) looked very cute if I may say so myself. The high quality finishing is what you can expect from any decent brand, and the fabrics were obviously chosen to be as soft as possible. The matching thong wasn’t to my liking: the frilled sides mean you have to be quite skinny to make this thong work… I suggest going for the Allumette Sevres brief if you’re not a size 6 .

The pictures speak for themselves. The Sevres line by Allumette is a fragile and feminine lingerie collection, that’s very fair in price. The bra is available at figleaves for $51, the brief is priced at $30.
