Diki Diane Rubach designs Lingerie New Collection

Diane Rubach Designs has been mentioned before on TLP but we’ve never really zoomed in on any of the DR-collections before. Today that changes with the latest Diane Rubach pieces that just hit Ever So Sexy about a week ago.

The new range from Diane is small but very glamorous. Six g-strings, four of which are open, made with silk, lace and decorated with diamante, pearls and sequins. With romantic names like “My Hearts Desire” and “Forever Darling” — these little g-strings are sure to be excellent (and romantic ) gifts. They’re made to measure so it is the opportunity for those ladies who don’t fit into the standard range of other manufacturers to own a sexy little work of art that will flatter and seduce.

Coemi: Polish Lingerie

In this series, TLP will narrow our coverage of lingerie around the globe and focus on the country of Poland. Poland has a long history of textile manufacturing and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has been embracing market economies. Freed from quotas and mandated manufacturing, many Polish textile companies are stepping on to the world stage.

Coemi has been a leading manufacturer of women’s high class lingerie since 1994. From the very beginning, the main objective was to manufacture products of the highest quality and unique design. We are able to achieve these objectives thanks to modern production equipment as well as qualified staff. In our variety of goods we offer a basic and cotton collection as well as the most diverse and yearly-modernized “Fashion” collection.

Similar to other Polish brands, Coemi offers a very broad collection. On top of four Basic offerings and eight Cotton offerings, there are 33 choices in the Fashion collection for 2008. Take a look at the thumbnails at the bottom of this article. Coemi differs from some of the other Polish brands because there is certain continuity to the offering. Coemi designs chemises, night dresses, pajamas, baby dolls, and dressing gowns in lovely satins with hints of lace and ribbon. The offering looks similar to Diane Rubach’s Diki line and the old DePledge line.

Ever So Sexy’s Valentine’s Day Diary

Just 11 days to Valentines Day. This is one of our busiest times of the year and so I need to be disciplined to make time to write my contribution to TLP. I decided the best thing would be to write a mini diary… so here goes.

Sunday 3rd February and the building is quiet. I am the only one here at the moment, although I expect Jen will be in later to catch up on the accounts. I check the orders and find that we have some customers hoping to order Diki by Diane Rubach made-to-measure lingerie. A problem this, as the normal lead time is 14 days and they want their items for Valentines Day which is now just 10 working days away. I rattle off a quick email to Diane and, bless her! She comes back with a positive answer. Lucky customers!

I then check through the contact messages from the site and find one that is very interesting. It is an invitation from a distributor to check out a lingerie brand that I had not heard of. We get a regular flow of distributors and manufacturers contacting us to sell their product and a lot of the time the product is just not right for us but this time is different! I browse their website with increasing excitement. It’s not a big range but it is very suitable for Ever-so-Sexy. I check out their current outlets and find that they are not heavily into the UK. Now I am really excited! I am not going to tell you the name of this lingerie brand now as I think we may very well add them to our site… so watch this space! Read more

Something Racy, Something Naughty…Part III

Our next installment of the bridal series is for that friend who isn’t scared to bare it all. The one most known for her wild antics back in your college days. The one with all of the confidence and none of the inhibitions. But remember, brides sometimes surprise you. Your “girl-next-door” friend may have some behind-closed-door secrets you may not know about, so you might try gifting her with a few of these selections as well.

When I first thought of the Bare it All Bachelorette, I naturally assumed the pieces would be mostly black. However, these unique and intricate silk chemises by Diki shows that white can be equally as sexy! The bride to be will love the chemises for luxurious detailing, while the groom to be will love how little they leave to the imagination! I think both of these pieces are guaranteed to provide lots of fun for the couple during and after the honeymoon. Available at a number of online retailers, including Ever So Sexy, these are perfect if you want to splurge.

I love, love, love this piece by Lascivious! The Midori collection is definitely the epitome of “naughty sophistication.” Made of simple black net and pulled together with black satin binding this bodysuit accentuates all of the right features. And of course, lots of strings to tie means lots of strings to untie! Not only is it available on the Lascivious website, but also at the very sexy Coco de Mer.

TLP favorite Kiki de Montparnasse is responsible for the innovative T-Front Playsuit. The nude chiffon contrasts with the black jersey for an interesting color combination. I also like this piece because the T-Front has hints of a playful, menswear feel, but with a strongly feminine and flirty edge. Classic Kiki! And as with the last piece, strings to tie (and untie!). This ties at the neck and back.

This next number is not for the tame. Wear if you dare this seductive something by the legendary Agent Provocateur. The Therese collection features a combination of items, but I particularly like the combination of the open cup French lace cami with the matching thong and suspender. Feel free to choose from the open cup bra, brief, and knickers.

Ever so sexy – a new online boutique

Thanks to Gill I found out about this brand new online lingerie boutique: Ever so Sexy! The ever-so-sexy.com website focuses on some luxury brands including Diki by Diane Rubach, Aurea, Luxxa, Lola Luna, Comet, Kiss Me Deadly and the brazilian designer swimwear label Mar Egeu.

Seeing as it’s hot outside here in Belgium (believe it or not the sun has been shining since Easter!) it’s this last collection I’ll be taking a closer look at! The first piece I love is the Rainbow Butterfly halter bandeau bikini. It’s one of the designs you’ll see all over the beach this summer (there’s a review on the way of a similar style bikini from Le Doux’ 2007 collection!), and this one combines the great design with a beautiful butterfly print and rainbow color pattern. I love it!

For those who don’t feel like wearing something loaded with bright colors, the Inca Gold halter bikini might be an option! It’s just as attention-grabbing (the gold looks really shiny! ) and sexy, so it’ll surely turn some heads.

Last but not least: shipping. Shipping costs are always a factor in buying online, and Ever so Sexy is very affordable on this always somewhat irritating extra expense. UK buyers get free shipping, US and EU-customers pay £5 (that’s about $10) extra. Not too bad if you ask me!
