Jean Paul Gaultier for La Perla
It seems that Jean Paul Gaultier wasn’t satisfied with dressing perfume bottles! Gaultier has now teamed up with luxury lingerie brand La Perla to develop a lingerie line.

Gaultier said in a press release:
“Lingerie is part of my DNA and of my heritage. In my latest prêt-à-porter collection I revisited the conical bras and corsets worn as outerwear. This collaboration was a natural and logical step, especially since La Perla is the pearl of the lingerie, with the best savoir faire.”
Alain Proust, La Perla CEO, said:
“Cooperating with Jean Paul Gaultier filled us with satisfaction from the very start. A perfect synergy immediately came to light between his vision and the values of luxury and elegance that have always been cornerstones in La Perla’s history.”
The collection will be available beginning in November at select La Perla and Gaultier boutiques, as well as select department stores. There will be 27 pieces in the collection, ranging in price from $600 to $1,200. One limited edition look (a backstitch satin bra and garter belt) will be shown on July 7 at the Gaultier haute couture show in Paris.
