Rose - Honestly, I think demanding a bra that is cotton *and* front closure *and* what sounds like a relatively rare size might be a pretty tall order. I don't know your reasons for needing cotton and front closure, so I'm not going to say you shouldn't be looking for those features if you do need them, but I can definitely see how that would make your search nearly impossible. I don't think I've ever seen a front closure bra in my size, and cotton bras in my size take a bit of searching as well. Maybe if you share your size, we'd be able to help?

Women don't want bras to LOOK utilitarian?! I would be happy as all get out to just find a cotton, front closure bra that fits. I gave up giving a rats backside about whether it's pretty or not when I was about 20. That being said I still have to 'settle' for the biggest size they have that (more or less) doesn't hurt, and I seriously doubt it is ever the correct size. It is certainly rarely front closure, rarely cotton, rarely one or the other and NEVER both. My mother and grandmother have suffered the same before I even existed. Doubtless they (MEN no doubt) design the damn things in a computer to look ""oh, so cute!"" and NOT to actually fit anything except the mannequin.

"Even online vendors rarely go lower than 28! "

Has anybody found ANY place anywhere in the world that goes below 28? Especially in bigger cup sizes? Because I've been looking for years. I need a 24J. (UK)

Rae - I wonder if a different birth control would work for you? I don't know all the details but I think there are distinct differences in side effects, especially when you're talking about monophasic versus triphasic. Might be worth discussing with your doctor if this really bothers you.

Anyway, I was going to suggest shopping online until you said you didn't like that idea. I know Frederick's of Hollywood and Victoria's Secret both have 32D, many around $30. Looking online, it looks like even Kohl's has some in your size for a little over $20 (larger department stores like Nordstrom are really good ideas too, but I don't know what your budget is like since you're in school and they can quickly get pricey there - although my Nordies has a killer sales rack!). For me, it's worth ordering online even if I have to return some in the search - beats a whole day of driving all around town, spending gas, just trying to find one place that has what I need! I hope you find some bras that fit you well and that you like. If you do decide to try shopping online, check our sales page - we keep track of coupon codes, discounts, etc.

I'm a tiny person at just 4'11" weighing around 95 pounds. You would think I have a small cup size.. but after taking birth control to control my painful period cramps I have exploded from a 32A to a 32C.. As I had said before.. for someone my size they are beginning to look ridiculous. I'm already starting to have back pains and they are still growing! By the end of this year I might be a 32D.
Yeah, If I could I would stop the pill. But I don't want to go back to being good friends with the toilet and staying at home for about 2 days every time I'm on my period. So.. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place..

I'm already having a hard time finding these in stores anymore.. everyone assumes if you have big boobs you must be a bigger person. What about tiny people like myself? Every time I look online they are so expensive. I also don't like ordering online because there is a chance that they will not fit me.. plus I've had bad experiences ordering things online as well. I'm poor enough as is in college.. I'm not sure what I can do at this point.

SuperSimoholic - Your comment broke my heart because the first time I had a correct bra fitting, I cried as well. And the shop I went to *had* my size! It was years ago but I still cringe when I think about it.

If it helps, it looks like Figleaves.com/Figleaves.co.uk has quite a few bras in your size, and many of them are super pretty! You can search by size on the site, so you *only* see the bras that will fit you.

I myself have just turned 18 and I'm at a soul crushing 36H...

I know there are plenty of places that go above a DD, but it's EXTREAMLY hard to find one that goes past a G. When I was 15 I was at a G and i could barely find a bra. I refuse to buy online because I won't pay for something without trying in on, and to be honest I don't see why I shouldn't be able to try it on like any other woman.

The day before my 18th I went to the closest Bravissimo to where I live (Bristol, england), that was Cardiff, Wales - Only to find that they NO bras in store that went up to my size, hey stopped at GG... After getting all exited, thinking I could finally be a teenage girl for the first time, seeing the pretty bras that actually go up to my size... I sat on a bench outside and burst into tears...

If anything they should make more big size bras because the bigger you are the less choice of even wearing one you have! unless you want to look like an 80 year old!!

They don't seem to understand how important a good bra is - I can look in the mirror with a good bra on and feel amazing, and then take it off and am so upset and disgusted by the way they look that I'll spend the rest of the day curled up in bed crying.

Like I said, I've just turned 18 (july), and I'm a 36H and STILL GROWING! And I havn't even been pregnant yet! I'm, already starting to pop out of my new bras that I only got at the beginning of july.
