The Bra Book – A Must Read!

How I love Twitter?  Let me count the ways!  If it wasn’t for Twitter, I wouldn’t have found the author of my current daily read, The Bra Book. A must read for every woman, The Bra Book is a comprehensive look at the sometimes revered and sometimes controversial foundational undergarment.  From its “herstory” to its maintenance and care, author, Jené Luciani, leaves no stone unturned as she informs and educates women about everything related to the bra.  Through chapters like “Like a Glove” and “Mountains vs. Molehills,” readers discover facts about fit and fashion that allow them to find the bra that suits them.  The book isn’t just a practical manual on finding your perfect bra (although it does do that!).  Instead, it strikes the balance between factual information and personal anecdotes that tap into every facet of our feelings about our bras from fear and frustration to fascination and fondness.  All in all, a great read!

The Bra Book can be purchased wherever books are sold including  Amazon (where I got mine!) so order your copy today.  In the meantime, don’t forget to check out  The Bra Book website as well as the Facebook and Twitter pages.  Share your thoughts and feelings with us in our forums or on our Facebook or Twitter pages.  We’d love to hear them!  Happy reading!

  1. This is an excellent post and I am definantly going to be purchasing this book. It is nice to know that finally someone has cut everything into smaller sections to explain all that there is to know about your bra. For years now I have known and myself have complained of having an ill fitting bra,( I did not want to admit i had put on a few pounds), but now I always make sure that I have the correct size and it is so nice to feel comfortable especially working the hours that I do

Thanks for your advice on this book and I will be adding this one to my collection for sure

    Many thanks
