Easy, Breezy Lingerie for Summer Nights (Under $75/£50)
Yesterday, I finally turned my air conditioning on, which means that sweltering summer nights aren’t too far away! Your favorite nightwear may soon be too hot, too stuffy, just too much to wear to bed, but if you don’t sleep naked you still have to find a cooler substitute. Below are some good options (click the images to visit a site where you can purchase).
This chemise is goddess-like and stylish, but still dainty and floaty enough that you can feel a summer breeze.
These next three chemises are 100% cotton, so they’re the perfect light and breathable choice for scorching hot temps.
This camisole and bloomers set is all cotton too, so it has all the benefits of the chemises above in a different style.
Moisture-wicking fabrics, like the ones used in these next two styles, are similar to the fabrics used in sportswear. They are designed specifically to keep you cool and dry while they wick away sweat.
After you find the perfect sleepwear, it’s still a good idea to have a robe on hand for those moments when you need a bit more coverage (like when you run out to get the paper or have overnight guests). A short, fluttery robe is just the ticket.
