Crimes Against Lingerie: Cleavage Caddy

Normally we focus on lingerie we like or admire on TLP. But I can’t let the Cleavage Caddy go down silently. I know that some women like to store small items in their bras, like an emergency $20 or something. I don’t like it, but I understand it. But the Cleavage Caddy is attempting to take that to a whole new ugly level. It is basically two little circular pockets connected in the middle. The idea is that you can shove all your junk in there, like your phone, lipstick, credit cards, etc., and then put your Cleavage Caddy in your bra. To be honest, I was half suspecting this to be a big joke until I found that it is indeed for sale.

Of the many reasons this is a terrible idea, I think the biggest ones are:

  • When you need something, do you really just stick your hand down your shirt in front of everyone?
  • Doesn’t your chest just look incredibly lumpy?
  • If your bra fits correctly, there shouldn’t even be room for all of this nonsense.

And seriously, for $30 you can just buy yourself a dignified handbag. Remember those?

OMG… please no! Surely it’s not that difficult to carry a natty little clutch bag!

I want to see the infomercial for this thing!

  3. Cheri says:

LMAO! I hope they do an infomercial for this, too funny!

That WOULD be good tv :D

This was not invented to be a joke! I was tired of people getting into my stuff so I found a way to have everything at the touch of my fingertips. I no longer fear walking around with my purse or walking away from it either! It is not about vanity it is about convenience and in the right shirt/blouse it is undetectable.
    Thank You,
    L

Yes, it would be quite uncomfortable if we are to wear a fitting bra. Wearing a correct size bra is always advisable

Both my Mom & I really like the idea of it, although it may be a BUST (hee hee!) depending on where the Caddy/pockets sit inside of our bras. Neither of us stash our items (me – cards/cash, Mom – phone) along the front of our bodies, & the Caddy looks as though it’s a “front load” design. That WOULD mess with one’s silhouette, no matter how well-endowed.

A small purse isn’t always the solution, either. I suffer from a disability where carrying a purse can be painful, not to mention inconvenient during those times I’m dependent upon crutches/canes. Even if I do happen to be wearing clothes with pockets, which isn’t always the case, the items inside just aren’t secure enough for comfort; especially when traveling.

Lastly, once receiving the Caddy, you have the option of getting fitted for a new bra that is sized specifically for when you would be using the Caddy. An investment, yes, but an option nonetheless.

  8. they were nice actually but i don’t like it for myself. the usual that i saw inserting things on their bras are the older ones…hmmm like my grandmother before. but with its style now, i will not be surprised if there will be some or more women to patronize them. what i am just worried about id if we put much load on it, our boobs might look or might have a weird shape? huh! just wondering. maybe i will just buy a hand bag with my $30 than having difficult time in inserting and getting out the things on my bra!
but wait, i think i can consider having even just one, i guess it will be nice to wear on some areas where there’s a lot of snatchers. i think our money is kinda secured there…
