Yandy Lingerie

Liberty of London Lingerie at Target US

I ran to Target for some shampoo today and you know I can’t go anywhere without taking a peek in the lingerie section! And I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw.

I had heard that Liberty of London created a Target-exclusive line of clothing, but I didn’t know that lingerie was included in that or I would have reported on it sooner! The Liberty of London prints are charming, intricate floral patterns. Most of the pieces mix multiple patterns, making these pieces seem casual and innocent. The collection includes bras, panties, garter belts, chemises, rompers, robes, and pajama sets. The prices are good too – chemises for $18, panties for $8, sleepwear sets for $20.

The selection is limited online (as I’m writing this, I don’t see any bras for sale on the Target website) so you may want to try your luck at a store near you. It’s only around for a limited time, too – I don’t know the exact expiration date but I would guess that it will come within only a few weeks, so if you like the look of these pieces you had better get to Target soon! There was another line at Target that impressed me too – stay tuned to TLP for more on that in an upcoming post!

love the liberty prints but imho they’re better suited to daywear (amazing in playsuits, dresses, blouses could even see a trouser suit…) than lingerie. i think this is just another marketing ploy riding on the coattails of the liberty brand.

I made a special trip to a giant Target store near me to buy some, but all I found were bathing suits. No bras or panties. Lots of Gillian O’Malley though.

GregW – I know a lot of the clothing items sold out quickly, but at my Target there was still quite a bit of lingerie left. Maybe it was more popular at your Target? It stinks that you couldn’t find it!

The problem with Target is they never have what they advertise. And if they do have it, the sizes are so limited that only three very small people can fit into the garment.

Years ago Target was a serious retailer who had good prices and good inventory. Now they are pathetic, basically because in so many areas, there is no competition.

I really liked the look of these pieces myself, but there is no way I would waste my gas and time going there as I am sure there would be none in the store.

Brenda maybe you could buy online then, if you saw something you liked on the website? There’s free shipping until Saturday too when you buy women’s apparel.

Sundal – I do think the prints suited outerwear well (especially blouses) but I think the lingerie is pretty in a sweet Sunday-brunch-at-home sort of way.

Thx Kelly for the tip – Free shiping is a great deal and if I can find my size, then even better. The dresses are perfect to sit out in the sun with my laptop doing some work.

Love those. Definitely have a sophisticated look. Good find!

Hi Kelly! I made a trip to a SECOND Target store today and bought all the Liberty of London panties they had, but I could only get about 7 or 8. I’ll put them on my site at cost as soon as I can but might want to require people to buy something else too. Not sure if that’s possible or not. Thanks for the tip! Maybe I can find a THIRD Target store nearby!

  10. This is good design.. I hope I can had one even it is limited ..

BTW thanks kelly for your good tips..

    Grace
