Camisole/Bra Combination Pieces
Many women incorporate lacey camisoles into their daily outfits to help add a bit of femininity to an outfit or perhaps get a little more coverage for a day at the office. But sometimes it can get annoying to wear multiple layers – maybe it’s too hot out to wear so much clothing, or your camisole hem peeks out the bottom of your top. Luckily, plenty of brands are releasing their own versions of the “cami bra” to help solve these problems. A cami bra is basically just what it sounds like – it’s a regular bra with a swath of lace incorporated into the design of the bra intended to cover your cleavage like a regular camisole would. It helps add a bit of coverage and style to a low-cut dress or top. Here are just a few (click the images to visit the retailers’ websites):
When shopping for cami bras, be sure to shop for styles that come in actual bra sizes like 34C, 36B, or 38D. There are some cami bras out there that come in sizes like 32, 34, and 36, or S, M, and L. Unfortunately those bras aren’t likely to fit correctly because they don’t take both band and cup measurements into account, and we all know how important it is to have a bra that fits properly! There are so many cami bra options these days that there is no excuse not to buy one that will fit and flatter you the way any other bra should.
If you have recently had a mastectomy, you can find several cami bras specifically tailored to your needs at Mastectomy.com. If you’re a hard-to-find size and you can’t find a cami bra that fits you from the list above (I’m right there with you!), you may have more luck with the Cami Too we showed you in August.
