Hoff by Hoff – Scandinavian Design via Lingerie

The Danish designer Mette Hoff’s line Hoff by Hoff (no relation to David Hasselhoff!) is a refreshing collection of lounge wear and intimates. You can see the clean minimalist Scandinavian design influence in her pieces. Mette Hoff went to school in Copenhagen at the Danish Design School. Her work for private labels inspired her new vision, she explained, “the modern woman who wants her underwear to be as trendy as the rest of her clothes. And to get rid of the many useless bows, frills and multicoloured laces, which are part of most of the traditional underwear collections.” I love the  feminine simplicity, and how it seems you can pair each piece with anything in your wardrobe.

Hoff by Hoff uses silk, cotton, mesh and luxurious trims to create items that you HAVE TO HAVE. My personal favorite is the Winter Silk Triangle Bra. The triangle silhouette has ruffled trim and an adorable satin bow with ruching on the back.  It’s perfect for a peek-a-boo top or to wear under a sheer blouse.
