SARDA: Andrés Sardá’s New Intimates Label

This season marks the debut of the first collection under Andrés Sardá’s new intimates label SARDA. Núria Sardá—who also happens to be celebrating her 20th anniversary at the fashion house’s creative department this year—designed the versatile collection. With SARDA, the company said it hopes to attract dynamic young women who are “living in the process of exploring [their] own future and who [are] not afraid to take on new challenges.”

SARDA fall/winter 2009 is comprised of four lines—Raval, Avinyó, Gràcia and Flash Flash—all of which are named after vivacious neighborhoods, streets and areas of Barcelona. The collection is pretty multifaceted and dips into a few trends including lingerie inspired by menswear and, even more prominently, lingerie worn as outerwear.

For those interested: the model in these photos has been identified as Rachel Alexander.

  2. [...] (For the Andres Sarda lovers – we just showed posted about their newest label SARDA a couple hours ago!) [...]
