Spiman: Italian Lingerie

Founded in 1959 in the centre of Carpi, Spiman begins by selling satin and knit bras in Italy. By 1961, the company starts using their Spiman trademark by combining the surnames of the founders. By the 1970s, Laura Spinabelli takes over the company from her mother Affra Spinabelli. Today, Stefano, Roberta, and Francesco Becchi work with their mother Laura and father Giovanni.

The company offers five collections for Classic (Classico), Plus Size (Magie Italiane), Trendy (Camyla), Sports (Sportline), and Sensual (Dolce Fuoco). The photos in this article are courtesy of Spiman and are from the Dolce Fuoco collection.

The site is available in Italian, English, and Russian. The Italian site offers a company club so you can download PDFs of the entire collections. I’ve only been able to find a scant number of Russian sites offering the product for online shopping. If you know where to find the product outside of Russia, leave a note.
