Jessica Simpson Intimates Sneak Peek

Although the official website still has nothing up about the Jessica Simpon Intimates collection (save for a “coming soon” notice), Body Magazine had this picture of one set in their March 2009 issue (the stockings are by Music Legs). It is very girly, much like Simpson herself, and the floral pattern is very Spring-like. But when will the line be released? We don’t know. In July of 2008, Women’s Wear Daily was reporting that it would hit stores in the Spring of 2009. But Spring is already here in many parts of the world and will be over before we know it! It is also worth noticing that while the first announcement of Jessica Simpson Intimates was on the Vestiny website in 2007, all mention of the line has been removed from the Vestiny website.

What do you think of this set? I have to say that I’m not totally thrilled. Perhaps it’s just my personal taste, but this set just doesn’t excite me and I’m not sure the inspiration was executed very well. It doesn’t seem very sophisticated, which surprises me coming from an adult celebrity who presumably wants to reflect herself in her styles.
