Gatta: Polish Lingerie

Gatta is a Polish brand from the companry Ferax. At this time, Gatta may be the only brand from Ferax and the companies might be considered synonyms. Ferax became involved in 1993 which is fairly typical for Poland during the post-communism period. Gatta may have been producing hosiery even before Ferax’s involvement.

The brand was clearly started in the hosiery line and has been expanding into adjacent markets including lingerie, activewear, underwear for children, and underwear for men. Technical advancements have included a seamless offering and all cotton offering.

The company sells via eponymous shops in 30 locations throughout Poland and through their online company store. Gatta is expanding into the EU, Ukraine, Croatia, Mongolia, and Australia.
