Victoria’s Secret 2008 Fashion Show: Sneak Peek
We told you when to tune in to watch the Victoria’s Secret 2008 Fashion Show on your TV. But the show itself was held and taped this weekend, and we have some photos for you! Sharen Turney, CEO of Victoria’s Secret, said, “The theme of the show is a return to glamour. Victoria’s Secret is about sexy, and the new sexy is glamorous for this season.” Chief costume designer Todd Thomas said, “This year’s focus is glamour, sophistication and the return to elegance.” There were 68 outfits worn by 35 models, and 2 performances by Usher. I absolutely loved the 2009 Victoria Secret fashion show. The holidays are quickly approaching and I love lingerie… I love receiving it as a gift and I love purchasing it as a surprise for my husband. My new fave is Bien Fee… Their Winter 2008 collection is beautiful and feminine with a little bit of a vintage twist… If you are looking to surprise someone special or if you are looking for an unusual gift, I would definitely recommend checking it out! As much as I love lingerie, I just can’t stomach Victoria Secret. The fashion show is such a tacky production. I just wish they would tone it down just a touch. I would rather watch Dita Von Teese’s feather dance any day over the VS show…
