As I walked by a La Senza boutique the other day, I noticed the sales clerk redoing a display to reflect the new season and the colder weather that has finally arrived. Thankfully, she was arranging some new robe designs just in time for both winter and the holiday season fast approaching. Fuzzy, comfy and fun best describes the newest colours and styles from the Lola and Coco by La Senza collection.

With names like Snowplush, Cozy, Polar Star, Holiday Dots and Ultra Soft, you cannot go wrong when purchasing one of these housecoats either to wear yourself on a cold night staying home or to give to a friend as a gift. They look great with other pieces of the La Senza lingerie group such as the camisoles or bras and panties. Add some cute sayings emblazoned on the backs of the robes in embroidery or metallic patches and they become chic lounge wear.

In long or short lengths, shawl collars or hooded, complete with pockets and tie belts, these playful robes designed with hearts, polka dots and animals are made in a variety of colours including fuschia fantasy, palace blue, lime green, royal quartz, cosmo red, jujube pink, and the old standbys black and white.

Although La Senza does offer considerable discounts for multiple purchases on selected items such as bras and pyjama bottoms, the robes do not carry any discounts. But I did notice that when I placed a robe in my shopping cart, there was a ten percent discount for customers that hold the La Senza Prestige Card. Personally I think it is great when customers are rewarded for their purchases with actual cash instead of free bags and token gifts that no one uses. Plus in this tough economy, being rewarded with cold, hard cash is a pleasant surprise!
