La Perla Trims Workforce

Despite the new advertising and advocacy achieved by La Perla’s relationship with Gossip Girls, La Perla appears to be suffering from the global economic downturn.

As reported by WWD (and syndicated throughout the web), La Perla is laying off 365 people at their Bologna headquarters.

JH Partners took controlling interest in the company earlier this year.
