Playful Promises Stock Stolen - Can You Help?

playful promisesPlayful Promises designer Emma is devastated after a very large portion of their stock was stolen from a warehouse — and they’re hoping to track it down with the help of the industry. Here’s the message she sent out:

Hi all,

We have had a break in at our storage at 219 Bow Rd in London and had 8000 units of our current collection A/W stolen last night. The police are investigating but if anyone is approached with Playful Promises stock that is not direct from us or sees it for sale in any unlikely places like markets over the weekend please urgently inform us so I can pass the info onto the police as you can image this has a phenomenal wholesale value and is a major problem for our small business.

Sorry for the impersonal nature of the email and it has gone out to almost everyone in my address book but I have a feeling the stock is going to show up in markets or sold in bulk for a discount as it would be quite hard to shift 8000 units of distinctive stock and feel the best chance of recovering it is by alerting as many people as possible who might see it floating about.

Thanks,
Emma
