Wedgie-Free Wednesdays – Be Wedgie-Free

In an effort to rid women of the aggravation and discomfort of “ride-up” panties, and in keeping with their mission to provide the most comfortable undergarments, Hanes created the Wedgie-Free panty. They actually launched the panties a while ago but what brought my attention to the plight of women around the world was the hilarious commercial I saw last week. All these women had a look of terror in their eyes. I thought it was yet another over-active bladder ad but it turned out to be equally as horrifying – the dreaded ride-up underwear.

Nothing is funnier than watching women trying to get their panties out of their bum! Realistically, the sight is so common that people take it for an everyday occurrence. Nothing odd about it. Except for the embarrassment of women whose panties are stuck so Hanes came to their rescue.

The promotion is a contest whereby entrants may send in their email addresses to be eligible for a draw to win a pair of the underwear. A great idea to get the public informed but regrettably it seems that the contest is only available to US residents.
