In March, Victoria’s Secret declared that they wanted to veer away from their super sexy image and return to what the brand is really about - the “ultra feminine.” I had a peek at the new Fall 2008 collection, and the new direction is very apparent. I was flipping through all the pictures, passing by standard Victoria’s Secret fare (lacy thongs, push-up bras, sheer garter belts, satin bustiers), but more and more I started noticing things that would look more appropriate for a sweet Sunday morning breakfast than a sultry Saturday night seduction.

There are plenty of innocent bra and panty sets as well as a wide selection of patterened sleepwear, following through on Victoria’s Secret’s promises to “reinvent the sleepwear business.”
