Introduced in August 2008 this annual collection from Ellipse – South America’s leading lingerie maker – breaks new ground with ruched bandeau style bras, v-cut briefs, laced-up pleated cups, corsets and thongs, ruffle trimmed camisoles and feather light wraps. Sets include bras, briefs, thongs, suspenders, laced corsets, bodys and slips. Inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ One Hundred Years of Solitude the theme of Victorian Colonial opulence is evident in this collection – sensuous pampered ladies indulging in lace, jewels and perfume in the heat of South American boudoirs come to mind when the lingerie pieces are handled.
