Dublin Fashion Week, sponsored by Motorola, will take place this August 25th-27th, 2008 at The Radisson Hotel, where the finest fashion labels will showcase their 2009 collections. And one of the luxury lingerie labels presenting is Caoimhe O’Dwyer, a well-known Dublin, Ireland designer whose designs are both prestigious and award winning.

Past collections were created with silk, satin, lace and fur. Sadly, I have not been able to locate photos of the new collection but here is a very informative excerpt courtesy of the Dublin Fashion Week website.

“This season’s mood and colour are made up of traditional neutrals, black and ivory and soft tones of oyster to give the palette a sensual feel. There is just a hint of lipstick red to add an edge to the collection. …. Caoimhe’s trademark is her use of luxurious delicate fabrics which she transforms into elegant shapes and beautifully handcrafted designs. Whispers of chiffon, chantilly lace and super soft silks introduce a note of decadence to a very sophisticated collection.”

I await the arrival of Caoimhe’s 2009 lingerie collection with great anticipation!
