The new Fall 2008 collection of Arianne has been announced! The aesthetic of this collection has definitely changed - earlier collections focused on romantic, frilly, and feminine styles punctuated by lace and crochet, but this new season has taken a turn to a trendier and fashion-forward side. The focus is on skimpier knickers, patterns (especially animal prints), and metallic threading. I have to admit, I miss the sweeter side of Arianne.

We see a glimpse of the old look in the “Christelle” styles, but the brand has taken a turn for the most part. I don’t recognize Arianne in this collection, but I think that fresh beginning is exactly what they want. Each style has a few difference coordinating pieces like camisoles, long-sleeve tops, thongs, chemises, lounge pants, and even dresses. You can see all the styles on the website.

And we certainly can’t forget the teddies and bodysuits! They make up a large part of this recent Arianne runway show during Miami Fashion Week. We’ve been talking about the bodysuit trend on the forum recently. What do you think about them?
