In this series, TLP will narrow our coverage of lingerie around the globe and focus on the country of Poland. Poland has a long history of textile manufacturing and since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has been embracing market economies. Freed from quotas and mandated manufacturing, many Polish textile companies are stepping on to the world stage.

Virginia has been making lingerie in Poland since 1996. In 2004, the company was reorganized and the collections were modernized. It appears the designs are pulled off by in house designers and the firm manufacturers their own product in Poland. There is no company store. The site is available in Polish and English.

The company offers a “fixed” collection and a “new” collection. The focus seems to be on softly padded bras. There doesn’t appear to be a signature piece. The collection is available from Polish retailers
